Assistant Coach Emma:
Emma started her fencing career as a newborn, travelling to gyms while her parents fenced. She has a lifetime of personal fencing experience; being a side line cheerleader, to score & time keeper on paper & electronically, 1999 Pan Am Games (youngest fencing volunteer) , to club fencer, competitive fencer, referee, competition manager, club coach and now parent & coach to the next generation of Symons’ fencers.

Emma has lots of competition experience to share with other fencers, from local to international level. Emma was Women’s Foil Manitoba Provincial Champion for many years.

You will see Emma in the gym helping coach both new & returning foil fencers alongside Head Coach Steve. She is being mentored in Sabre and Epee coaching as well.
